FITTED SHIRT, Shine, Women
Papu's collaboration with Moomin Characters continues and we are releasing a wonderful and unique Shine collection in addition to our spring collection! The collection, which includes a vivacious aquarelle print is adapted from Tove Jansson's Comet in Moominland book's illustration. The picture shows Moomintroll, Sniff and Snufkin, who are traveling on stilts at the bottom of the dried-up sea. There is a sense of tension in the air, but in the end everything ends well and the great excitement passes. The Moomin and Tailed Star illustration highlights very current and important themes: openness towards strangers, facing climate change and the importance of family and loved ones.
Tove Jansson's delicate brushwork and nuanced use of colors are highlighted in a beautiful way in the patterns. Papu has always admired not only Tove Jansson's distinctive illustrations, but also her stories, that have strong value base beneath the surface. Tove Jansson's work conveys courage, equality and pioneering spirit.

Orders from papudesign.com are delivered by Posti (Finland) to your closest pick-up location or directly to your home (home delivery) and DHL Express (rest of the world).
The home delivery option in Finland delivers the package directly to your home during the next working day after the order is dispatched from our warehouse. If it cannot be delivered (if no one is there to receive the package) the package will be delivered to the nearest pick up point.
